Is there a way to run the Peppymeter with LMS directly ie via a plugin?Ģ.Ěs I don’t want to lose LMS and its advanced play and database tagging functions is there a way to somehow link Volumio front end to LMS?ģ.Ĝan anyone think of another way I can display the peppymeter linked into LMS even if this means getting a dedicated Raspberry Pi just to run the display?Īny advice or help would be much appreciated.ġ. So, my questions (apologies if these are a bit naive):ġ. From searching I can only see that a plugin was developed for Volumio and I simply can’t find any reference where Peppymeter has been somehow linked to Squeezebox. Still thinking about all the different bits apart from one thing, I really wanted to use the Peppymeter on the display as I really like the VU meters. So, I have decided as a project to build my own dedicated DAC streaming device based on LMS, a Waveshare touch screen, and maybe even a hard drive. Windows VU Meter is a standalone application that mimics an old stereos VU or audio level meters. I now find myself in the position of having to move the LMS to another device as I cant update it and it no longer exists in the Synology apps library. I have the library on a Synology NAS device and I have 3 players (SB1, SB Classic v3 and SB Touch plus controller) I have been using Squeezebox for over 8 years and I’m really happy with it. A newbi to this forum but not to Squeezebox.
